Tasting Notes:

A very gentle cup – The milder offering of all the Hi-U cups so far. Lower acidity with a bit more body than average. Very clean with a pretty diverse flavor set – a black honey almost anyone will like. Lighter roasts pick up a pretty fruity aroma but only a hint in the cup – smooth, a bit sweeter with a more dry nutty finish – similar to your traditional Brazil cup with a hint of ferment up front, a very pleasant everyday/all-day drinker. Darker roasts (close to into 2nd crack) produce a much jammier body, sweeter malty/chocolate notes with still a hint of ferment. One can pick up a little smoke mixing into the cup starting right before 2nd crack that will accentuate into 2nd crack.
